Guys, I'm confused. Where do I find which fuel injectors should I get? Part numbers online vary dramatically. Also, which one is the one for a kompressor version 550cc or 660cc?

The broader question is where do I get a DIY repair kit for my injectors and which one?

Please help!

 

The injectors for the 3.2 l supercharged engine are 440cc injectors Bosch #0280156072. There are any number of good quality injectors that will work but may need an electrical adapter.

I'm hoping someone has a factory sheet for them but I haven't found it.

I think Needswings would be able to set you up with some O-rings if you plan on servicing them. If you consider yourself handy check out Youtube has some good hints on servicing them yourself.
If you search Sweet2002's posts he listed an ebay source for some 550's which he fitted successfully. They were 6 jet and only $240 or soemthign like that.

otherwise if you are thinking of going over 18psi - I'd look at other drop in's

2) 543cc ones BoschPN 0280158117 - dont have an MB# for these.

 

I have dropped in a set from Five-O motorsports, called Black-ops rated at 550cc's. There is a plastic adapter available so that there should be no need to cut and solder electrical connectors, however, on our engine there is not enough clearance, cut and solder it is. When comparing injectors it is important to make sure the stated flow rates are at the same pressure, most use 3 bar as a reference. While some of us using stacked set ups have adjusted the fuel pressure to about 66psi, after installing the Black-ops injectors, I am going to go back to the stock 58 psi. Five-O motorsports can provide a lot of good info on injectors, plus the injectors came with a flow sheet showing all 6 injectors and their flow matched to very close tolerances and the rate at different psi's.

 

(SRT-6) Crossfire 2006 blues are 0280156304 or A1130780123 and the 2005 blacks are 0280156072 or A1120780349. From what I read the blues superseded the blacks so you most likely have the blacks in your SLK.

The Ebay listing is still active (relisted) - they have EV14 plugs
But according to his stats, Sweet hasn't been on the Board since 11th of July - so no new reports.

 

I seem to recall that Sweet was going to sell his car, so that may account for his absence.

 

I have a set of the Bosch 550's w/ adapters (barely used) for sale n the classifieds section. Be aware that if you go that route, you need a proper tune to go with them.
