Default Seat Heater

I have a question to anyone.

My seat heater lights are both working. My passenger seat heats bottom and back. My driver seat does not heat at all. If it is this combo would it be the control module or just the heaters themselves. Does anyone know of a sequence and a part number if it is the module from what I read is located near the hazard switch.

thanks.
Car is coming along and getting it up to date.
Catch can my first upgrade and new SC oil.
Thanks to Needswings

Probably just the elements in the seats. Inexpensive check would be to unbolt the seat , unplug it and place a bolt meter on the leads. If you need to change the elements there are several to choose from on EBay. The downside is that they will not get as hot. The upside is that they will not burn out as quickly. Complexity level approx 3/10. Will take about 3 hours start to finish. You will need to pull up the leather and place new pads

Go to the link in my signature and go to the Electrical section, there are two articles on seat heater replacement.

My seat heaters also are not working. Also both switches do not illuminate. Any thoughts on what my problem would be

Silly question but have you changed the fuse?
If not fuse, it may be the seat switch control panel. Here's one on Rbay for less than $30

Try this.
If it doesn't work feel free to type in your search on eBay. 5 seconds will produce the desired results

Here is another. For a few bucks more you'll have a spare set of switches. This one doesn't appear to be damaged.

Have you checked the seat Elements for a continuos circuit? I've had to replace the drivers seat elements with a generic replacement (cut to size) from EBay.

Take your time

So I pulled my seat and found the seat heater module is working, I have power when it is switched on. The heaters have NO continuity so now I want to replace seat and back. I have searched and found a few options. Seat heater elements from Rock Auto for $58 and heat my seats have different options which are unbeknownst to me.
Does anyone have experience and satisfaction with any of these or other viable options?
Another question is another post mentioned putting the new element under the cushion as opposed to between seat cover and cushion? This they mentioned a little less heat but not having to delve into separating the leather.
The old cushion contains the elements and basically you cut the leads and reuse the existing cushion?
thanks

I've replaced my elements with these
2 seats Carbon Fiber Universal Seat heater Warmer Kit Car Cushion - Round Switch | eBay

They are showing out of stock but there are several similar to these. You'll have to remove the seats, remove the covers.
The elements go between the cover and the pad. You can reuse the existing leads. It will require a cut a solder. Easy to do.

This brand was cutable which was perfect for fitting them between the cover and cushion

I've gone through all of my images and it appears as though all of the images I have of this project are already loaded up to the album section on the forum.

My apologies I got so caught up on the project and failed to take more images.

You will need a voltage tester to ensure that the circuit is complete during the element replacement for both seat and back.

send me a message if you get stuck and I'll try to walk you through it

Does anyone have a link or pics for pulling the Control button switch panel out and disconnected for replacement? I pulled the radio but need help past that. I'm afraid of breaking plastic stuff without directions. Thank you for your help

Get a set of interior trim removal tools. You can buy them at almost any auto parts supply centre. They're cheap (between 6-10 bucks).

Scroll up on this thread to member one hundred eighty. He has the links posted to service manuals. Download them, the info will be there
