Default Any interest in Wavetrac or Stock diff (3.07)?

*** SOLD ***

I'm moving forward with getting my SLK32 ready to sell. I have the Wavetrac diff in it currently and have a full used OEM diff that was swapped out. Curious if anyone is interested in buying the Wavetrac unit or the OEM spare. As far as I remember, you guys don't need the stub axles, but I have a set with each unit for someone with an '02 SLK32 with the 2-part axles. Haven't come up with my prices yet, just checking if it's even worth my effort to swap it back out.

I also have a set of 3.27 gears available, if someone it looking to do that swap.

Thanks,
Alan

Here is the OEM diff and the 3.27 gear set:

The interest was there, so I swapped back to the OEM diff. Also, I already have a buyer pending...

Yes. For the SRT, you don't need the stub axles since you have 1-piece axles... so you pop them out.

The pending buyer got a STEAL on this unit! It pays off to be quick to inquire...

I'll be a backup if the buyer doesn't complete the deal.
Thanks.

Maybe you can PM me on your experiences with the 3.27 in the SLK - if ever it was installed.
I did work out some time ago that the gearing/tyre=torque setup in the stock 32 is already the same as a Xfire with stock rims/tyres and the 3.27 in it. I'd be interested in any comment you might have.
