The SRT6 Super Charger Details
to clarify my earlier post ;
In 'normal driving around town what i get is a Deeep waaaaah sound from the sc at low rpms increasing in tone in higher gears and then screams like jet with the increasing rpm. Its all the way to 6349 rpm in my little beast. (scaring or amazing all those within earshot ..quite a way haha) there is no delay jerk or anything , apart from being pushed back in the seat .
Anyways, I thought the SC engages at 1500rpm not 2900 ?

I think that is the issue, either drive like Granny or Parnelli Jones! If you're in between you are going to have that surge. I use a modified Tighed1 belt wrap setup, no slippage of the belt and though I run stacked pulleys, my SC pulley is stock turned down to 70mm.
to clarify my earlier post ;

daveesrt6, Read OneHundered80's first post (page 12). The key information there is "Up to an engine speed of about 2900 rpm, the supercharger is actuated when engine load is more than 44%". SO, if you get to 44% load at 1200 rpm, or 1300 rpm, or 1500 rpm, etc.; that is when it will kick in. On a highly modified SRT6 (if you drive it conservatively) it is real easy to get to 2900 rpm before achieving 44% load. And with a highly modified SRT6, when it kicks in, it jumps, and is ready to blast off!

it makes sense .
thanks dinasrt
I have the 65 and when in traffic at low rpm I can feel the sc engage and get the jerk when pulling out slow. More noticeable going up hill so that supports the 44% idea.
