Replacement $ of a SRT-6 Roadster for Insurance?
So I'm applying for insurance at Grundy and need to establish the replacement value. My black SRT-6 roadster has ~17,500 miles and is basically in pristine condition. The only non cosmetic mod is the Needswings CIA.
I am curious to know what others here think I should use as a replacement value $?

I doubt a few $1000 one way or the other to Grundy would make much difference in your insurance quote. Go for the higher end as I'm certain with the low miles and the condition of your car as to mechanical and detailing it would be hard to replace.
^^^^^ - at least 15.5K, maybe even up to 22K depending on the premium.

I would agree with ala_crossfire with 20K being a pretty accurate figure to base the premium.

Thanks all. I don't keep up with the market/replacement values anymore. It sits in the garage and makes me smile every time I walk into the garage.
I had told them $17.5k and their quote is only $180/year, so I'll increase it to $22k. It's a lot less than the ~$700/year I'm currently paying to USAA.

keep in mind that you are now buying stated value insurance and that comes along with a variety of "restrictions". there is a thread here that discusses a lot of the conditions. most have mileage restrictions/year (obviously not an issue in your case i would think), most have usage restrictions such as no "joy riding", or auto club or event activity only, etc. make certain to read over the policy closely to make certain that it meets your needs other than just stated value. just my 2 cents however.
Its clearly written, must be garaged on your own property. I don't see the problem if you don't have a garage.
I didn't have luck with Hagarty or Grundy. Seems my wife totaling an MB keeps my rates high. My insurance forgave her...lol. So I am stuck right where I am with Erie. Erie stated had I not been a long time customer, they would not insure either of the SRT's.... go figure.
