Anyone else out there going to the SRT Track Experience in Daytona (Skip Barber Driving School) besides myself? The invite says they will have the full line of SRT vehicles onhand to drive (Neon SRT-4, Magnum SRT-8, Crossfire SRT-6, 300C SRT-8 and the Viper SRT-10)!

hell, daytona is close, what day is it?

 

no, it is $200 for Daytona, usually $300. open to SRT owners by invite only i believe (from what the invite says). It is being held the 14th and 15th of May, limited to 100 per day. they put guests on a wait list (car is in my name, wanted the wife to attend also ....) and they will charge the guest the same rate. The invite says that another is being held in Cali, will have to post the dates etc later when i am back in FLA and can re-read the invite.

Dan, you have no idea! But to be fair to the TR4, it is a very fun driver and you get a whole different "set" of looks from curious people. The REAL difference is in the Bosch vs Lucas parts!

Just signed up for the California Speedway SRT experience. Only down side appears to be that you only get a ride along at high speed. For $400, you can drive a nascar on the speedway. That was fun. This will probably be a bit less speed than most of us would like, but certainly a chance to work on driving skills. Hope to see some of you on the track.

Dan, I received an invite in the mail, but you can call 1-800-998-1110 and leave a voice message, or e-mail them at info@srttrackexperience.com. I faxed in a one page form to 1-248-553-2138. The form basically asked for your SRT vin number and a credit card. I signed up for Friday (May 20th), I'm waiting for confirmation...they say it should take 48 hours, and its only been 24.
