Electrical problems!!!
Hello everybody.
I have a 2005 SRT-6 and the fog lights stay on all the time. Anyone experience this problem? I'm guessing the headlamp switch is bad. Switch is N/A. Any Ideas? Here is the biggest problem. Something is draining the battery. Looking for possible solutions. Looking for parts! Window switches, headlamp switch. |
Re: Electrical problems!!!
Besides rotating to turn on park and headlamps the switch also has a push pull function to turn on the fog lamps. Is it possible you just need to push in on the knob? |

Good luck! :confused: |
Re: Electrical problems!!!
It isnt the switch, it's the security module in the trunk.
And the only way to find what is draining a battery, is to insert an ammeter in the battery ground lead and do this;
IF you see too much current, start pulling fuses until the current drops to where it should be - the last fuse pulled is the clue. If you see NO currrent, you have the meter setup incorrectly or you have a blown fuse in the meter. |
