Default Debadged SRT-6

Did I search on "debadge" and found a couple of examples of regular Crossfires w/o rear "Crossfire" lettering but none done on a SRT.

Throwing around the idea of debadging mine and just leaving the "SRT-6" logo on the lower right area but for some reason can't get a good mental picture if these would look ok or out of place..being that this would be the only emblem left on the car...

Any thoughts, pics ?

i think it would great. i like the clean & simple look. the srt6 badge is small so it would look fine leaving it in the lower right corner.

Thanks for the reply...and yes, I just did it and it does look good...almost worth the 3 or so hours I spent trying to remove the stubborn glue marks left on after I took off the letters.

Next time use lighter fluid or Goo Be Gone and put on a coat of wax when you're done. Debadging is a 20-30 minute job tops.

I see...wasn't to sure what fluids might damage the paint and what would not, so I took the safe route and used some "safe for all surfaces" orange wipes...

there is a product we use at the lexus dealership to debadge the vehicles called "Acrysol" its from a company called "Kent Automotive" i debadged my crossfire in about five minutes with a piece of floss and a urethane body tool. not trying to rub it in, just thought i'd give a little story.

the kent product is good. 3m makes a product called 3m general purpose adhesive remover. The name about sums it up, works fast. safe for paint.

I'm thinking about debadging but every time I go to do it, I can't.

You don't have an SRT-6 though, right ?

My thought is without any badges (even though the SRT-6 badge is small) and no fixed wing, it would make the back end of the car even look more "tucked" then it already is by debadging it...

The SRT-6 rear is too crowded already with the wing, crossfire name, chrysler emblem, srt-6 badge and license plate making it an eye sore.

I agree and I am quite happy I decided to debadge mine... I used a smoked cover on the license plate instead of the normal holder to give it cleaner look... Only thing I regret is the couple of swirl marks, I caused right above the SRT-6 badge when I tried to get off the "E" in Crossfire... Well I guess it's decided then where I will put the Kleemann badge, when I get the ECU and pulley upgrade.

i've been tossing this around too; i'm with MAYA, i just can't do it yet. i'm waiting for a wax cloth or a drying towel to get caught and rip a letter off, and then i'll go and do the rest of them.

respdoc...swirl marks happen sometimes after debadging but use Zaino Bros. Z2 and Z5 to remove it. Zaino works great in my XFIREX that's why it's still looking good after 1 1/2 years!

MAYAman...it's always good to debadge your car while it's still new since there is not yet an accumulation of waxes in your paint.

I guess I'm going the wrong way...I sent away to moss motors and added "supercharged" to both doors and under the SRT 6 emblem on the deck...check out photos under jimboo...

I debadged my crossfire today. It took less than an hour and I love the results.

Here's another debadged Blaze red XFIREX! The SRT-6 badge should have been placed this way (in the passenger side area of the rear).
