Default SRT-6 serpentine belt

Are there any suggestions for a quality replacement SRT-6 serpentine belt?

I've always trusted Rob @ Needswings, and purchase from him. He supplies the Gates brand. He sells all the slightly different lengths for those w/ crank pulleys, s.c. pulley, p.s.k., etc, as well as stock.

It is mentioned on here a few times as are other belt lengths for different pulley configurations.

I just replaced my serpentine belt (Gates K081145) on my SRT6. I believe the length of the belt is 114.5 inches when new (ie embedded in the part number). Once installed, I then carefully measured the old belt. Its length was 117 inches. The belt was original and the car has 54,000 miles on it. So, after 15 years and 54k miles, the old belt had stretched by ~2.5 inches. Anecdotally, the before and after driving experience was significantly better - it pushed me back in the seat in a way I hadn't experienced before. Quite significant and definitely unexpected.

Unfortunately (or really, fortunately) I discovered that the harmonic balancer is pining for the fiords. It will be replaced pronto with MB part #

1120351600

That should make my engine much quieter too!

Cheers,
Dave

I use a green gates belt since im modded. I recommend the green belt for pully modified srt's as I suffered belt slippage with the regular blk gates belt.

The green belt will be whatever part number the blk belt is with just HD on the end if there is one available in that size.

Oy - I should have asked about this first. "next time". On the positive side, getting rid of 2 1/2 inches of belt stretch made my car very happy!!
