Default Srt6 2006

I think the pneumatic/electronic box in the boot has gone down as it won't unlock/open the boot - anyone know al alternate method of opening the boot?

You are a man of few words, is your SRT6 a Coupe or Roadster?

Try search as there is a thread on opening the roadster trunk which is different to opening the coupe trunk.

If you’re still trying to get into the boot, one of the only ways is through the drivers side licence plate light located on the under of Boot (naturally above the license plate). I’ve done it so I know it can be done

it’s hard to miss the latch but the mech to lock unlock is right there. I’ve attached a few images, I was able to open mine with a long, narrow slotted screwdriver. We you’re messing around in that area, it would be a great idea to apply masking tape all around the area you are working on. The time when it’s hot, and patience runs thin, is the time when you ship with the screwdriver and scratch the paint (that’s not my experience talking but I’ve seen it happen.

Another great approach is to look at a few of the lock mechanisms for sale on eBay. The images may give you some valuable insight.

Good luck, it can be down just take your time n

I did this aid some time back. I missed this thread.
With a screwdriver push the black lever as shown and it is unlocked, the red lines represent the hole for the left license plate light.

If it's a roadster, let the top down halfway and then reach into the boot and pull the yellowish emergency trunk release handle. (The one they installed in case you fall into your tiny trunk and get locked in.)
