Which Mercedes (model?) engine does the SRT6 have?

The SC'd 3.2L was only used in the SLK32 & C32. The NA version of the 3.2L was in most of the model lines from MB. The older E55 ran an NA 5L (or maybe it was a 5.5L). The newer E55's got the SC'd 5.5L.
The SC 3.2 liter is better known as the Mercedes 112.960 engine.
It was used in the SLK32 (170.466 chassis) from 2002 to 2004.
The C32 (203.065 sedan and 203.265 coupe) used the 112.961 engine (supercharged 3.2) in the same years.
It's essentially the same engine with very minor differences to fit the different chassis.
If you look at your engine cover and other parts, you'll notice that most of them start with the number 112.
The radiator is a 202 part that was borrowed from the 202 chassis (1994-2000 C class chassis).
Mercedes has an interesting part numbering system but it makes it easy to identify parts.

The C320 was the non supercharged 112.946 engine.
The C30 was an AMG car with the 612.990 diesel. Most Americans would not find that amusing so it was never offered over here.
BTW... the C230 now comes with the 272.920 V6 instead of the supercharged 1.8 L four popper and the C55 uses some of the front structure from the CLK to fit the larger engine. It's a couple inches longer than the other C-class sedans and has front sheet metal unique to itself.

It's too bad that you can't e-mail the engine assembly (AMG) plant in Onsnabruke(?) to get the missing signed assemblers plate that all the regular AMG-Benzes have in that blank spot on the supercharger faring...Maybe that's why the car comes with the downscale non-AMG engine cover...they think that you won't think to look under it and wonder!!!

It's SLK320 for the Crossfire and Crossfire LTD. SL32 AMG for the SRT-6. If you compare the interiors (dash board, console, etc.) of the SLK320 and SL32 AMG to the Crossfire, you will find them virtually identical.
