Is 100k a lot for a SRT? Car looks and drives like new. It’s a beast!

 

It all comes down to care and maintenance. I would rather have a 150,000 mile well cared for and maintained car than a 50,000 mile beater.

Mine has 106 K and looks and runs like new.

 

There are a huge number of variables that can affect a car's longevity. However, across Mercedes Benz models, the average falls between 150,000 and 250,000 miles.

 

Mine just clocked 100km. The body is in immaculate condition. Had a few part niggles at this 100km mark: replacement wheel / steering sensors and a dying alarm siren. Then I got water/coolant in the oil - turned out to be an oil gasket behind the timing chain. Quite a job to find and fix so I got all the gaskets along the way replaced, and the heads/pistons resealed etc. The things purrs like new. I'll do a full report on the repair shortly.
