Question for the room. Looking to get into an SRT-6 would like to know where to look for performance improvements. From the front to back of the car.

already has the ecu and the tcu tune and a smaller supercharger pulley (factory steel
pulley turned down) and a manual fuel regulator so U can set your A F R's for max HP.

Take a look around I see a few SRTs for sale with mileage all over the place as well as the asking price. There is a guy named Brian Hoffman who is in Florida and saw recently that he had an SRT for sale. There are a few on Bring a Trailer also. Check Car gurus for listing.

 

So far the actual question has not been answered.

The OP's statement indicated: "Looking to get into an SRT-6", so he doesn't own a SRT6. Why waste our time discussing performance enhancements at this time? The cart is before the horse. That was the reason I suggested that he should look at AMX1397's SRT6 sales ad in the Marketplace, since it's in Florida (like the OP) and the car has an ECU and TCU tune that should give him the answers to his post, in one fell swoop.

I believe this is a forum aka a chat room and i do appreciate your opinion. With this being said I don’t know anyone who jumps at the first option in today’s market. I’m doing what yould call diligence or recon. Would investing 10,000 be the best choice??? Or would one have buyer remorse. The Op want the best outcome if it’s the ops cash.

 

If you research the market you will find 10K to be a great price and from someone that is an expert with crossfires and maintains them properly. IMHO

What I’d like is to have my original question answered not be pressured into buying a car for 10,000???? If your buddy really wants to get rid of it have him trade it in. Ok!! Ok!! it’s not as if there are 47 different models to dig into. It’s a crossfire forum limited to one of two versions.

If he’s really interested, the information is here and available. He does not appear to be interested in doing the research. You guys have freely (and most generously) given your time and for some people, “what’s given freely, has no value” this appears to be the case.

We all know that there’s lots of information here if the poster was really interested he would have taken some time to dig in and come back with questions. He’s asking all of you to do the work for him.

Leave it and let him come back with specifics. OP Did say this was a chat room, looking forward to hear him ask his questions with respect to specifics.

As a owner of a SRT-6 living in FL you were given the best name recognized in this car to get advice. If your wanting a high performance SRT-6 it is simple. Modify to accept a “Hemi” or “Hellcat”, or even an LS. Watch your value and return on all of your investment be wasted.
