Default SRT-6 upgrades

Guys, been away for some time. I'm interested in finding out who supplies smaller pulleys and HP ECU's for the SRT-6's supercharger and engine management system?

I'm also interested to know who has done this (if anyone), what kind of HP/TQ increases did they achieve and what performance numbers did the changes equate to?

Anyone?

STF for your answers. Did you trade yours in on an SRT?

Considering this yes...

But knowing me, I won't be happy with the STD HP. I'd like the SRT to keep company with my '71 Charger which is no slouch in the HP department, but leaves a bit to be desired in the handling dept!

I came to the conclusion some time ago that it would be better to tune the SRT than the std Crossfire for more HP/TQ. As it has been introduced here in Oz some time ago, I'm gonna wait and see how they sell before as I'd say the possibility for a really good deal is there.

I really love my Crossfire...but if I don't get an SRT-6 then I might have to look into a 300C. Needless to say I prefer the Xfire hands down.

But I want a minimum of 400 HP and am wondering if a blower pulley/ECU and exhaust system change will get me there? These WRX clowns down here really **** me off! lol.

But who is STF?

lol...stands for "search the forum" since it has been discussed before. Kleemann or EvoSport is who I will be going thru for my pulley, ECU work but there are other companies out there. Add the SL55 intake and simple things less res. delete, etc.,
and I don't see why you would be in the 400 range...remember, just for example, your 0-60 times are around 4.9 or so (factory). While not as fast as the new vette's and such; your would still be no turtle even running stock...

Reaching 400+ crank HP is not much of a problem. RENNtech or Kleeman ECU & Pulley + SL55 intake. You can also install greenfilters. Or go with a custom 192 mm crank pulley (need a smaller water pump pulley than you would get with the standard upgrade kits).

I would love to see a photo under your hood with the SL55 intake... I'm sure you can take a quick snap and post it...

When talking about the SL55 intake it is really just the y-pipe that is being changed. It is not the air boxes and inlet tubes.

...Your starting to sound like HDDP trying to pass off false information as facts...

Some just do the y-splitter, but it's just as easy (if not easier) to do everything (intake, boxes, tubes) etc. as I've done...

Fine I stand corrected. In my case it is just the SL55 splitter.

Have you been to the dyno yet?

No, been holding off until I get the pulleys and ECU. Since the full SL55 intake has proven 8-10 hp repeatedly on the dyno for the C32's I have no reason to think my numbers would be any less...(it's around a 3-5 hp. gain with just the splitter on the C32).

How cute is this Crossfire without the fixed rear wing ? Looks pretty menacing to me and the M3 that is getting a Crossfire enema...

Putting a moderately skilled track driver in a limited model Crossfire has no bearing on the exterior look of the car...

Describing the car as "cute" came from a female friend (drives a Beetle) about a white limited/base model she saw parked locally...
