65mm Poland Supercharged pulley bearing
Hi guys,
I determined that the bearing of my 65mm steel supercharger pulley from IBF (Poland) has gotten noisy. Used the stethoscope first and then removed belt and turned it. There is play and it’s not moving smooth.
Never had a problem with these.
I remember RedDog mentioning, Napa can install them? Otherwise I will press it out and use Freezer/Heat method. Been looking for the bearing and I believe it is the same as the OEM (NSK 32BD45-A-1T12DDUCG21 ENSL). Is that the correct serial number?
Also, I can’t quite remember but to anyone using the same aftermarket pulley (65mm) did you use the shims at all? I vaguely remember that I didn't need the shims for some reason as the gap was to spec without them.
It’s odd to have a loud bearing at about 35,000 miles on the pulley.
To anyone who has the same supercharger pulley, can you confirm this is the right bearing and also, did you use the shims?
Nick
