Default SRT-6,Roadster?

I'm looking to join you guys. Thinking of buying a SRT-6 Roadster. I can't believe how low the prices are used.
How few of these cars have been made, anyone know?

In a good year, Chrysler will sell about 15,000 Crossfires (total). I would imagine that just a small percentage of those are the SRT-6. Unfortunately, Ward's Automotive News does not break out SRT-6 sales figures from the rest of the Crossfires.

Two sources I've read said about 1,000 per model year...

Makes sense to me. Since the boosted engine is pretty much hand built by AMG, I would imagine that they take a while to put together (and hence the volume is low). Now, if this was a Mercedes instead of a Crossfire, the technician would sign the top of the engine when it is finished. Like it was a work of art. I think that is a nice touch, and wish that it had translated over to Chrysler's SRT group.

Sort of...for example, even though the top of the supercharger has always had a place for it on the 2002 C32's...AMG did not sign or install plates on them...In '03 some C32's started having either signed and unsigned plates at what seems to be at random...

I've been trying to find a blank plate since I bought it because the area looks bare without anything on there but with no luck...even from some of the distributors I used to get parts for my MB in Europe...looks like the only option left is the junkyard.

Did you try contacting AMG?
