You're using the stock rear O2 sensor plugs and wiring correct?
No Biggie…. I just thought you may know from the past…

All 4 O2s are OEM SRT6 (super clean), the post-cat O2 wiring is also OEM but the pre-cat wiring is from the 55K harness that I adapted to the SRT and are working great…**Remember I was concerned those pre O2s might be a prob. because of the ¾” bungs w/just the tip in the hole**….

Maybe I can get a “Pre inspection test” somewhere. I would consider O2 simulators but the prob. doesn’t seem to be the sensors….If there even is a prob…

Thanks for your input…

Here in smog **** Commiefornia the rear O2's aren't even recorded. They sniff the tail, but that'll come out clean with bad secondaries (provided there's no CEL)

The pre-O2's not being all the way in really do make me wonder. It may not have anything to do with your issue but I still wonder about them.

Here, every smog shop does pre-testing. It's the same price but isn't recorded directly to the DMV. Honestly that would be a good thought.

They don’t do the sniffer anymore w/OBD cars here. Last time, w/this car, they didn’t even ck brakes or lights - just 100% through the OBDII port.

“The pre-O2's not being all the way in” I felt that way also until I saw these one day>> O2 oxygen sensor angled extender spacer 90 degree

That's interesting. If it's not a dead sensor, then I'm thinking honestly it's just a fluke in DAS. It is possible.

If they only run a obdII and you have no CEL and all systems are "Ready" you will pass emission's no problem even if you get weird readings in das. Aftermarket cats could be a PITA sometimes. so I would keep running it for a bit and see how they react.

Hey thanks Jimmy! I think you & Josh are both right on, give it a go & see what happens… Surely they won’t notice a couple of extra cylinders crammed in the front there…Nahhhh..

The thing I regret having to do next is installing the exhaust. The tacked on glasspacks gives that loud SB Chevy with a touch of mild cam Cleveland sound, not to mention, it has just been a hoot scaring the h#!! out of teenagers in there high school hot rods…

They will definitely notice, it will tell them it's a 5.4. I can change that back to 3.2 if you want?

I bet! Lol Even I've been embarrassing the teens, you are just destroying their dreams lol.

On which lol?

On the NA it pulls pretty damn good, on the 5.4 Supercharged it's probably down right scary.

You know, in "Implizite Kodierung ME281"... I need to change to Motor/Hubraum M 121K E32 AMG but any adjustments I try in that mode just don't stick after "Save". (like several of the "nicht" settings)

I do envy your freedom and some of the other states as well.

And while I'm at it ~ (I asked awhile back) What is "The first thing you know?

Answer: old Jed's a millionaire

I'll try to weld up the exhaust this week in preparation of state inspection. Maybe we can get together on the engine size change thingy in DAS...
