Mr. Clean autodry, check this out!
First off let me just say I love this product, but I've found something out. I washed my car Sunday after it sat out for almost 2 days in row. Then I took it to work on Monday and it rained, rained HARD and guess what, the water didn't bead up anymore.
I'm thinking there's something in that chemical that either strips the wax or just lets the water sit there. The shine was still there, but when driving home in the rain the water wasn't beading. Does anyone know if there's actually something in this stuff thats bad for wax. I'm still going to use it, just not on my Crossfire, I'll save it for those vehicles I'm getting ready to detail so it saves me alot of time drying them and thats it!
I'm not certain what chemicals are in the soap, but I noticed the same thing. Car nice and shiny, no beading. The filtration system on the Mr Clean delivers de-ionized water. We have deI water systems at work for different machining centers ... the water is pure. I have well water and some of the hardest water in our area at the house and hated washing the care with it. The Mr Clean system works quite well. I'm a nut, so I usually wax/polish the XF after a washing.
I only use the filtered water to rinse the car after I wash it. I don't trust whatever they put in the soap to assist in water sheeting. My only wish is that the volume of filtered water coming out of it was higher, instead of a fine mist.
Well I've decided to only use the Mr.Clean when I'm doing a customers car or clay and 3 step on my own ride. I can't have all the wax rinsed away because I'm trying to save time drying it.
I have been using Zaino Bros. for the last 2 years and now, I have been using Mr. Clean Auto wash in washing my car.
I believe it is the soap that strips off the wax in the car that's why instead of using Mr. Clean's soap, I use Zaino 7 car wash for the car.
The thing I love from Mr. Clean is the filtered water! With it, I will no longer need to use my leaf blower to dry up my car!

I have noticed that the Mr. Clean Auto Dry soap also leaves a light film on the car. I also just use the filtered water after washing my XFire with better products.
Are you guys putting the product right into the sprayer or washing the car the "old fashioned way" and then just using the rinse.
