Wrinkles/Creases marks on my cloth top
I have the same creases. Given the nature of the fabric and the natural folds going up and down, I don't know how to get around it. There are lots of products that will protect the top. Do a search on the forum for some that have been highly recommended. I keep my roadster in the garage and not exposed to the elements too often. I've owned 5 convertibles, and as much as I was saddened with the death of our cat, I tell you this, they are not good for one's cloth top. I had to get a zap mat to keep the cat off my car but somehow he managed to get his paws on the windshield...
I guess that's another topic...

This is normal, especially if your top is down more than it is up. Next time you wash your car let the top dry for a few hours, and you will see a difference. Here in Central Virginia it has been extremely hot and my top has been up more than it has been down, all of my creases/wrinkles have vanished...for the time being.
My top was smooth and wrinkle free until I made a mistake. I washed the car and lowered the top while it was still damp. After this incident I have a permanent set of creases/wrinkles in the bottom corners of the top. Rats! Subsequent washes followed by complete drying cycles have neither added to nor decreased the wrinkles. I haven't tried any topical fabric treatments to see if they can be removed again.
Your lucky you don't own a solstice, those tops have been a nightmare from the start with wrinkles around the trunk hump. If you see one with the top up take a look.
I think Mark is right. If i'm not mistaken this wrinkles became more visible after I put the top down right after i washed it.
Well, I'll try some of the rag top products combined with 303 High Tech Fabric guard and see what happens.

The key is to let your top thoroughly dry, and also vacuum out the area where the top is stowed. If the top is damp and you retract it all the dust/pollen in the tonneau area will stick to the top especially in the folded areas.
Is the top on these cars German cloth? It is far superior to American cloth for tops. My Porsche top after almost 16 years is finally starting to show its age and has wrinkles and a couple a very minute tears. But it held up quite well. Yes the car is garaged its whole life but 16 years on an original top is astounding. the German cloth is so awesome. If the Xfire doesn't have German cloth I would get a top shop to change it to German cloth. Total cost will probably be $1,000 but worth it.
Hi,
the Crossfire top material in made in Germany. But, to be honest, it is not a guarantee...
My soft top also has wrinkles, and not only on the side. It was not properly tempered from the beginning. I claimed it and will get a new soft top.
Regular change will cost approx. 2000 EUR ($2,600 USD) due to the fact that the rear window is glued to the cloth and needs to be changed with the cloth. That is what I was told by my DC dealer.
