Default Zymol Vintage Glaze

Just curious. Has anybody used Zymol Vintage Glaze? For the $2,000, it better be good or is it just the fee for getting a lifetime of unlimited wax.
Features:
  • The Zymol Vintage Glaze has an astonishing 61% No. 1 White Brazilian Carnauba Wax (100% by volume) to luxuriate your prized automobile
  • Based on the award-winning mixture that was developed for the 1947 Bentley Mark VI Cabriolet
  • You’ll never have to buy wax again because the Zymol Vintage Glaze includes lifetime refills at no charge
  • 22 oz of Zymol Vintage Glaze comes enclosed in an awe-inspiring, crystalline chest
  • Ingredients: White Carnauba Sap/Wax, Montan Evergreen Oil, Sunflower Oil, Cantaloupe Oil, Coconut Oil, Honeydew Extract, Propolis (derived from Bees), Cetyl Esters, Cetyl Cocoamide (derived from coconut oil).
Description:

The Bentley of automobile waxes has arrived. Descended from royalty, the Zymol Vintage Glaze formula is based on the award-winning recipe crafted for the 1947 Bentley Mark VI Cabriolet. And like a fine wine that improves with age, so too has the Zymol Vintage Glaze’s mixture been perfected during the slow passage of time.

The Zymol Vintage Glaze’s glossing powers come from the meticulously chosen natural ingredients. Chief among them is the 61% of No. 1 White Brazilian Carnauba Wax, the finest and rarest of carnaubas available. The rest of the Zymol Vintage Glaze formula is rounded out by natural oils and extracts, never harsh petrochemicals. And the majestic wax is suspended inside a translucent, gem-inspired glass case.

Whether you’re polishing your single favorite show-winner or your entire fleet, the 22 oz well of wax will never run out because Zymol gives you a lifetime of refills at no charge.

Man they also make one that's $7,600: Zymol Royale Glaze

Description: It was originally formulated to protect the finish of the Bugatti Royale, a rare late 1920's ultra-luxury car (only about half a dozen were built) so meticulously crafted and exquisitely engineered that today it is considered a work of art. Suitable for all paint types and colours. Royale Glaze contains 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume. This container is refilled for life at no charge.

Important: You must use zymol HD-Cleanse to remove old wax, tar and stains before applying any zymol Waxes or Glazes; otherwise they will not bond to the paint surface.

Directions for Use:

1. Put a very small amount of glaze into the palm of your hand. Use the warmth of your hands to melt the carnauba. With your hands gently apply the glaze in a light even pattern over no more that 2 or 3 square feet of the painted surface.
2. Let Royale stand for up to 10 minutes.
3. Using moderate to heavy pressure, wipe very slowly with a zymol microwipe (folded once) to a brilliant lustre before the wax is totally dry.
4. Wait 3-4 hours, then lightly buff the paint again to a perfect shine.

Ingredients:

Contains white carnauba sap, Montan Evergreen Oil, Sunflower Oil, Cantaloupe Oil, Coconut Oil, Honeydew extract, Strawberry extract, Propolis (derived from bees) and pure glycerin. Royale Glaze contains 70% Brazilian No.1 White Carnauba by volume.

Any wax on the market, from the cheapest off brand you can locate to the highest of the high end Zymol stuff will give optimum results on a properly prepped surface. Claying and polishing will remove bonded surface contaminants and deep clean the paint, as well as remove fine scratches, swirl marks, rotary buffing holograms, etc. Only then will ANY wax or sealant perform at it's best. The vehicle will also look pretty amazing after these steps and before any wax is applied!

That said...Free Refills!!! I say we all chip in, buy a container full and pass it around the forum membership, refilling when needed!!!

And yes, I am kidding.

I've used Zymol Carbon, not as expensive as Concours or Vintage its around $50, it does the same job as a wax 1/4 of its price, i wasn't impressed.

i use to use the 'carbon' ... the longevity is very short... not a great wax at all imo.

try the 'concours' ... its a truly different breed. the protection lasts a very long time... and the shine is superior.
