Official Meguiar's Clinic Thread

OK, it looks like we've gotten some good interest for the detailing clinic at Meguiar's on January 12, 2008. I've spoken to Mike Phillips at Meguiar's about letting our Crossfire group piggyback in with the S2000 group that has reserved the day as they don't look to be filling the class. He has specifically mentioned our group in the official signup thread for this session.

If you want to attend you must do the following (if you respond here at crossfireforum.org you will NOT be registered for the event):
  1. Head over to www.meguiarsonline.com and register as a forum user. Yes, forum membership is free.
  2. On Monday just go to the sign up thread for the Jan. 12 session and simply respond to it. The thread can be found at http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums...ad.php?t=20795 but you must wait until Monday, January 7 in order to give the original S2000 group their allotted time to sign up.
  3. Show up at Meguiar's HQ in Irvine on Saturday Jan. 12 at 8:00AM and get ready to learn a couple of things. The address and a MapQuest link are provided on the first page of the signup thread.
See you there!

If you're referring to the hairy beast in my avatar, he's our kid, not just our dog. You couldn't afford him. Bill Gates couldn't afford him!!! Hell, I can barely afford him!!!!!!!!

Not a bad idea....Mike Phillips at Meguiar's will then know we're coming from the Crossfire group and make sure we get a spot before anyone else jumps in.

Being an easily confused kind of guy, I'm........confused. Should we use "Mike Phillips" as the referrer? Your post has me well, confused.

No, use me, Mike-in-Orange, as your referrer. Mike Phillips is the guy at Meguiar's who conducts the Saturday clinics and Thursday night open garage sessions, as well as being their forum admin.

The funny thing is all this time I've seen your dog child avatar and never "looked" at it. We too have a dog child as well as 3 actual human children- I'm a really ineffective parent and excellent dog owner because the dog child is the only one who listens to me most of the time. Only 10 seats left as of right now.

Registared at Mequirars. Naturally there already was a "Brent" registared so I imaginatively came up with "AnotherBrent" for a user name. Only two Brents in the whole world and both of us are on the same forum.

After registering on the Meguiar's board on Friday (it took several hours after signing up on the board on Friday before being Okay'd to post), I've now signed up at Meguiar's this morning (Monday 1/7/2008) for the class this coming Saturday (1/12/08).
