Damn Bugs
Nice day today so I pulled my baby out of the garage, washed and detailed it, applied Rain-X to the windshield and took off to run errands to Lowes, Walmart and anyplace else I could find that would put some miles on.
Driving along in light traffic at 70 and really enjoying myself when "splat", a big bug splatters across my windshield.
I get home and grab a glass wipe to wipe it off but when I looked at my front end I see bugs everywhere. ****. Had to wash the whole car again.

Well, it can't be karma.
I detailed mine 2 days ago (see my gallery) and yesterday took off on an across the state trip of 362 miles. Pulled in at 2 AM and saw the mess of deaders on the front end.
Took out the trusty Mequiars Ultimate Quik Detailer, saturated the front end, waited 5 minutes and with 3 separate steps of spraying I removed the gook with microfiber towels. Slow and careful not to scrub. Just softening and wiping.
Then I looked at it this morning and QD'ed the whole thing before the wife woke up. Good as , well, not new, but as good as 2 days ago!

Try a product called " Rejex".
It's an aircraft product that many car people use as wax. You can use it on paint or glass with the same great results. Bugs rinse off and the shine is incredible.
Try a place called Skygeek on the internet to order.

Had mine out the other day and it was a blast cruising around with the windows down... then a big bug hit my driver's mirror, had to wipe it off my face and glasses... I would have rather cleaned the windshield
