Default Washing the Crossfire - Simple

Took the time this afternoon to wash my XFire. I still can't get over how simplistic the body lines are when it comes to doing this task. It is absolutely the easiest car, including wheels, to wash that I've ever owned. I've worked with some really great design engineers over the years, but it's hard for me to believe that this kind of focus was given during the XF's design infancy. Purposeful - doubt it. Luck of the Draw - even a blind squirrel digs up an acorn every once in awhile!

No offense meant to any design engineers out there. Been there; done that!

It is simple,

1. put W/S switch in the W (wash) position.

2. Wash as normal, then rinse.

3. Move the switch to the S (shake) position.

4. Car should shake itself dry.

That is well thought out engineering

I always wanted to know what that switch was for! Yeah, Right!

I have to agree with you there it is such an easy car to wash.
Plus the fact it looks so good after you wash it makes it all the better.

Could it have anything to do with running your hands over every curve and contour with a soft, soapy mitt? And then rinsing the bubbles away to reveal the color and shine...

Easy to wash until you get to the SRT style wheels. They look great clean but are a pain to wash.

Ditto, If only they could clean themselves..!!..

Its bad when you spend 30 minutes to wash the car and an hour to clean the wheels . Then it turns into cleaning them after every drive.....oh the endless cycle....
