Make sure you check for any unwanted chrome additions that may have been added during the detailing.
I am sure there are pleanty of spares accessories floating around over there.

Yup, I try to throw the cord over my shoulder when using the ol buffer. That minor detail aside, I'll bet she looks 1000% better.

Boiler, there is a guy close to us that my brother and I use to detail. He is shipping off to the Air force soon, but there is still time to get him to come down and do your car. He spends all day(like 9 hours) on it and does interior, exterior and even under hood. I'll put the link to indianasrt forums from where he came down and did my old big turbo SRT-4. I am going to try and schedule him to come do my X-fire next weekend. I love the stripes he gets in the floor mats.

I was just razzing FP, my neighbor runs a bodyshop and has been painting and buffing for 25+ years, he says he will do it for me for a case of beer, so I think I am good Thanks for the info though, just out of curiosity, what would he charge for the little buggy?

Well, he isn't as cheap as a case of beer, unless you drink a really expensive beer! It depends on the car, but my SRT-4 was 125 bucks so I would assume around the same for the SRT-6, maybe a bit cheaper since it is a tad smaller and lots less interior to do. I dont have the patience to spend 8+ hours cleaning a car, so it is well worth it for me to pay him . When you think about it, that comes down to around 15 bucks an hour and he brings all the cleaning chemicals. I always spend a couple hours "petting" my car after he is done cause it is smooth as silk. I scheduled him for the 12th so we should get together that night and you can check it out. A guy at work told me every nice saturday a bunch of nice cars come out and chill in downtown Noblesville. Old hot rods and customs and some newer stuff too.

 

For $125 or less, may have to try the guy out, you mind PMing me his number? that is a great price. We may be down for the NVille thing, I just feel like some of the classis car guys and hot rod guys dont like seeing cars like ours at these things, although some are very cool. We are down in the Broadripple area so it should not be too bad of a drive....

 

I'd love to do that. You pay for the plane ticket and I'll pay for the detailing class??? haha.
