Top Care --- Too Cold!
After doing several searches here and reading a lot of opinions on top care I ordered a top care kit from Raggtopp and got it yesterday. Bad news is the temps here in IL have went South, or should I say North as in North Pole? It was nice but windy the last few days so I was able to get her car washed and dried. Now I need to wash the top so I can use the cleaner and then once it dries use the protectant. It is going to be 29 here tonight and a high in the 40's at best so washing the top is out, then if I did I would need some better temps to apply the spray from what I read on the label. I think the top will wait till Spring to get it taken care of, the car will be parked and covered for Winter so no rain or other things can get to it. I was really hoping to get it done but 50 and 60 degree temps don't seem the best for doing the job right. The top really soaks the water as is so it needs done bad. Oh well, as it sleeps covered in it's own garage here it won't hurt to wait I just wanted to see how the stuff worked!

I use that product and am very happy with it. If you can apply it in 60 degree weather, and let it sit in the sun, it should be fine.

I live in the middle of the State, trouble is it's in the country so the wind howls non stop this time of year. I don't think there will be enough 60 plus days in a row to do the top, it says to do 3 coats. No big deal I guess, it won't see any bad weather anyway.
