Any help for cleaning the engine bay, for a nice kid?
I am new to detailing cars . I haven't even bought any true car care products yet for my car (no wax, no polishing, nothing fancy). Well, I want to detail the engine bay of the Xfire. I want to powerspray the engine bay, but I don't know what to cover(worried about spraying water on the wrong things). If anyone has pics of a Crossfire engine bay, can anyone point out, by circling the areas, what I should cover, and how (words won't help, I need to see things, sorry guys)? Thanks alot, and I hope to get cleaning the engine bay as soon as I get some pointers for cleaning my Crossfire
Since your car is almost new just use mild cleaner and alot of rags ,i use meguirs quick clean and old towels!then i just wipe with water never put a hose on my car if i can help it!
If you wipe down the inside of your engine compartment with a damp cloth or sponge every time you wash your car, you won't get a buildup of dirt or oil. I do that with my '01 Sebring and the engine and engine compartment are as clean as when I drove the car out of the showroom 3 1/2 years ago.
