Has anyone tried this 3m product
Like a high end, clear plastidip in its application and removal, looks pretty cool.
I would be interested to see if on an enthusiasts dark colored car that has a great finish to see how it affects everything...
Let us know, Max?

This looks like it has real possibilities. I think I'll try this on my 2006 F150 STX 4x4 Flareside. Hood & front end takes a real beating. Using Dr. ColorChip now on front bumper & fascia to get rid of "road rash".
Just found this on the Vette forum...
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my experience with the new spray on film.
I followed the instructions as best as I could. Making sure that I got that orange peel look so there was enough coverage but not too much. I tried to do the hood and front facia.
After allowing four hours of dry time, I found the coating to have settled but an orange peel look still remained with a dull finish. It may be that I was still too light but I felt I followed the pictures and video which I saw several times.
It may be ok for a daily driver but not what I expect for my corvette.
Now here's the real rub. It took me over 6 hours to get this sh-t off! I am so pissed off about it. Like I have nothing else better to do with a wife and two kids.
My .02, don't even think about trying this stuff until they get the formula right. Man, do I feel like an a-hole for being a first mover.
Anyway, hope this benefits some of you guys out there.
NOTE: THERE WAS ONE FOLLOW UP COMMENT.. OTHERS ARE STEERING CLEAR.. (NO PUN INTEDED)...
That is the exact opposite of my experience. I watch the video and followed the direction precisely. It dried perfectly and it not even noticeable on my. Vette I plan on using it on my Avalanche.
