Yep here in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts they do an awesome job of cleaning the roads after the winter sand application. NOT!!!

I have some small pits in the windshield from sand kicked up.
Any way to fix these without resorting to the windshield repair kits or having the windshield replaced?

Does glass wax work?

 

Go to an antiques dealer that specializes in american brilliant cut glass stemware for restoration help. Also a product such as "jewelers rouge" can be tried as this stuff is used to polish scratches out of glass mirrors, etc.
