Does anyone know which is faster, the SLK 230 (4 cylinder supercharged) or the crossfire? I have a crossfire and my friend has the other, but we haven't officially raced.

 

Crossfire should win (in 1/4 mile and track) but the specs are pretty close so it would be up to the driver.

They are about the same weight, the 230 has less horsepower and less torque. The Crossfire has about +20 in hp and torque.

 

The crossfire will definitely beat an slk 230, remember that the crossfire IS an slk 320. Benz wouldn't make the more expensive slk320 slower.

200 tq - 229 tq Crossfire wins again
Don't quote me on this but, i remember hearing that the crossfire is a 100 pounds lighter than the slk230 (that's 3 strikes the slk230 is out).

 

no an srt6 is an slk32, a non srt is a 3.2 l n/a engine, as opposed to a 2.3 l s/c engine.

 

A Crossfire is an SLK 320 -- an SRT-6 is an SLK 32 AMG.

 

I have owned both and the crossfire would win hands down.
