This is not mine nor do I have anything to do with it. I am not in a position to bid on it at this time so I just wanted to share, if the reserve is low it could be a killer deal!!!

If the auction ends with the motor not reaching its reserve, and anybody here is interested in it, PM me. My nephew works for this company, and I could probably find out what it would take to actually buy it.

I believe their inventory programs are very "gender specific" and basically only tell them what the part came out of, and that's the only vehicle they know it will fit.
It won't per say. You will need a computer and any extra srt related parts to make it work.
Intercooler and such. I'm sure there are other minor differences too.
They are covering their buts because if you just drop it in it will not run.

I am surprised with all the talk about people wanting to S/C the limited crossfire it didn't sell... Huge bargain.
I wish I was in a positing to bid on it at this time.
I may have to try selling some stuff.

I'm amazed the auctioneer didn't take $1,000... being there is no history on the engine and shipping is at least $500, it's just too expensive to return if its a junker.
Come on Xed buy it, you know you want it!!

The auction is over for the SRT-6 motor and tranny, and it only brought 1k again. Which didn't meet its reserve.
I asked my Nephew about it, and he said once a part goes on EBAY, the only way you can buy it is thru their EBAY sales division.
He couldn't tell me what their reserve was, and this is only me speculating, but they may be receptive to a bid of $2,500 to $3,000.
I don't think the engine came out of a flood car, because LKQ is either one of, or the largest salvage vehicle companies in the Nation, and they have a very good reputation with body shops and insurance companies everywhere. So I don't think they would risk losing their good image just to dump a bad motor on somebody.
I purchased a Magnum V8 and tranny from them a few years ago and it was just like it rolled out of the factory. I wound up not using it, but the guy I sold it to, put it in his Dodge Dakota pick-up and was running low 14's with it stock. He told me it actually ran better than the one that came from the factory.
