Default SRT-6 Exhaust. Sound Good?

So far from what I have heard the non-srt crossfire sound like crap with modded exhaust. Does anybody have any sounds clips of SRT-6 with modded exhaust? If not could somebody make one. Thank You.

Can you explain what people have done to the exhaust to make the crossfire sound like crap?

I always wondered if the SRT XF had a different muffler, makes you wonder... hmmm.

Doesn't the SRT6 have a different exhaust/muffler?
When mine was delivered on a truck it was on the 2nd tier. I got underneath it and looked at it. The muffler on it says AMG. Do regular Crossfire mufflers have AMG stamped on them?

I meant that when people mod their Non-SRT Crossfire Exhaust it sounds like crap, it sounds like a honda civic with a 4" exhaust pipe on it. The stock exhaust sound fine. I wanted to see if anybody had modded their SRT-6 Exhaust and how it sounded, I figured it would sound better because of the more horsepower it pumping out.

I hardly think that the non-SRT version of the Crossfire sounds like crap with a Borla exhaust, but hey, that's just me...

I REMOVED THE EXHAUST AFTER THE CATS, AND HAD AN X-PIPE PUT THERE TO BALANCE THE PRESSURES FROM EACH SIDE OF MOTOR, THEN RAN 2 1/2" CHROME PIPE BACK TO A DUAL IN DUAL OUT CHROME MAGNAFLOW MUFFLER, AND PUT CUSTOM CHROME OVAL TIPS. IT IS A LITTLE LOUDER THAN THE STOCK EXHAUST ON THE INSIDE OF THE CAR, BUT SOUNDS LIKE A EUROPEAN SPORTS CAR ON THE OUTSIDE. JUST WANTED A SOUND THAT FIT WHAT THE CAR LOOKED LIKE. DOESN'T SOUND LIKE RICER OR THE STOCK WOULD OF BEEN PUT RIGHT BACK ON.
GO TO MY USER GALLERY TO SEE PICS OF EXHAUST.

Do you have any part numbers on those tips/muffler? That's an awesome looking setup.

I have a very similar setup on my SRT as you, only not the fancy polished muffler. I really like the sound and can't agree more about the reference to a euro sports car. I'm not sure if there was a power increase since I bought my car with the exhaust already on it.

Done all of the above.

Three inch straight back from the cats no muffler. WAYYY too loud even for me. Tried four different mufflers ended up with a 3" straight through with
2 x 2 tips Very crisp up around 4K and above a little boomy down low but acceptable. Was done purely for power and matched to a custom PowerChip
ECU (I know the CEO) to run on 100 Octane.

I am VERY finicky (is that a word in the US) and the result is perfect for my ears with a bonus of around 8-10 HP, sounds nothing like a Civic.

SRT same motor essentially same sound if you play but you wont hear the blower.
