hey jp, me and hddp are going to be racing at buttonwillow in a month, and he got a garage. you have a banner or some stickers you want us to rock for you, he said he would throw one on his car too.

 

Aww man, now I'm gonna have to decide between new rear meats or an ECU tune. Can't I take a rain check on this for a couple more month. I'm tapped out of cash after I pick up some tires, but $450 is a sweet deal!!!

Edit; just to confirm, this is for the 20 Hp upgrade that was done to X'ed's car correct? So I can't run 87 octane anymore, I will have to use premium correct?

 

You... put 87 octane in an MB engine? Anyway yes, x'ed software.

Negative, there is no special offer on the SRT6 engine... yet. Did you want to start another interest thread? (Mail-in's are always welcome - remember, we just don't have the time for the next few months to do state-hopping).

rent a neon from enterprise for two days, its $9.95 a day.

 

I sure do, it gets the same mileage with cheap stuff vs premium. Also there was a notice sent out by Chrysler that stated it was okay to run 87. Granted it doesn't have the same pop but it works for daily driving.

CORRECTING THIS POST...

We now have 4 Crossfires registered to run at "CALIFORNIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY" with the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) on March 17th & 18th... I will be racing all weekend and have rented a garage in the paddock area. SI is welcomed to place a banner above our garage area and place some logo decals on our cars for the event.

Mike (X'ed) will be running his (SI Tuned) naturally aspirated Crossfire Coupe' in HPDE
Hernan (SRT6-Crossfire) will be running his (SI Tuned) SRT6 Crossfire Roadster in HPDE
(ON MARCH 17th)

Jody (MMZ_Timelord) will be running his SRT6 in HPDE
Derek (HDDP) will be running his Crossfire in TTD
(ON MARCH 17th & 18th)

If things work out, I may have some business associates (celebrities) join us with an ENZO, 360 & Murcialago just to make our stupid Crossfires look bad... LOL.

Have any idea of the size/space limitations there are on a banner-type display? Even decals?

 

The width of the garages are about 20 ft... Most people hang their banners from the overhang above the bay doors, or from the rafters inside the bay.

Decal size is only limited by the area on the car... My car looks like this, so you can put your decals anywhere that doesn't overlap my numbers and class ID. The car will look like this all season including when I run the Nationals at Mid-Ohio.

Every event has professional photographers in attendance that shoot the cars on the track and then provide copies...
