I got a friend looking to put some decent hp upgrades on his car... what all companies make superchargers/turbos for this car and what all companies make exhaust whatever you guys got let me have it i that would be great. I'm not really familiar with these cars so I figured I would ask you guys!! I could use exhaust... chip...supercharger or turbo...gears? Just if someone could give me a mod list with a nice 1/4 mile time or something of that sort any help would be great. Thanks.

 

Go to www.dragtimes.com - look up Chrysler, then Crossfire - I believe the 3 fastest Crossfire times are from members of this forum - and there are a few notes on what mods they have done. Otherwise, just keep looking around - there are a lot of opinions on how to make your car quicker/make more HP!!

 

If you can, buy a SRT6. It is already supercharged, has AMG exhaust, etc.

 

Unfortunately there are no off the shelf mods for our cars, turbos or superchargers at this point are non existent unless custom made. The premier performance companies for our cars are Renntech, Brabus, Startech and Vath...all extremely expensive $16,000 - $22,000 for a worth while up. At this point you are better off getting an Xfire SRT6 (330 HP Supercharged). Chips and exhaust systems are a start, there is a thread on the forum about Inmotion tuning with verified data and dyno runs. The Xfire is not a parts bin or "tuner" type car, performance mods are scarce. Below is a link to the Inmotion tuning thread.

I wouldn't say performance mods are scarce, they just cost a lot of money. Which is probably a good thing otherwise everyone would be slapping plastic ricer parts all over it, pretty soon it'll look like a honda crx. I hope not.
