Default Ansa exhaust?

Has anyone here familiar with Ansa exhaust? A friend just asked me, I haven't heard of it but I've seen sites that sells it but still I want to know more of it so I was thinking if anyone can help me with this here. Anyone info will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have heard of them and they have been around a long time. I have a friend who ran one of their exhausts on a Porsche years ago. It sounded good.

Know this is an old post, but wasn't around back in May. In my youth I had 2 Alfa' a 1971 Belina sedan and then a 74 spyder, I had Ansa systems put on to both cars, long term memory - they were great
sounded terrific, noticed a huge difference in performance, Alfa engines at the time were only 1750cc - the size of 2 size 10 shoe box's. 20 of my favorite cars - when they worked!

No. You could probably do a muffler though. Here is a site w/their sound clips, etc. (I wasn't that impressed w/the sound):

I wanna get my hands on a carlsson muffler somehow... without the full catback exhaust that would be sick... just no one sells it... without the whole system...

My two cents...

Buy the Magnaflow cat-back system.

Easy to install, sounds great, twin stainless straight-through mufflers can stay in place when you take the plunge latter and fabricate a custom "true-duals" exhaust system.

Cheers,

Slim

Nice, but won't fit a SRT6.

Ansa is what was always OEM on Ferrari's. Don't know if they still do. Ansa systems gave a very tradtional European sports car sound that I would love to have, but I don't know anything about Ansa today. Another cool sounding muffler is the Remus. These are pricey but can be found for very reasonable costs from time to time on Ebay.

I spoke directly to Ansa and they have a universal Ansa Sport round can with a 3 or 3.5 tip. Putting two of these side by side might work. The Ansa sport will give you the deep throaty Ferrari sound without being too loud. I am getting ready to do my exhaust and may do this as I want a true dual set up. Ansa also makes their Silverline which is louder and more like other full stainless systems such as Magnaflow etc.
