Default Anyone ever try this yet?

Just a dumb question, but has anyone ever tried to stick an SRT-6 exhaust on their base/limited? I'd be curious to see if there was any difference in power/tone from the stock one.

I doubt that there would be any difference, (not really even sure if they are any different).

Seems like a lot of work for very little gain. But please don't let me discourage you!

Not sure if anyone has done this either.
I will say that the exhaust is different between SRT and nonSRT Crossfires. In n/a Crossfires, the system is dual from the headers to the heat shield ~ underneath the seats. Then it goes to single pipe to the muffler.
In SRT Crossfires, the system is dual from the headers past the heat shield to the AMG resonator. Leaving the resonator is one pipe to the muffler.

The mufflers are also different between the 2. The SRT6 muffler is made by Sebring, not sure if the regular Crossfire's is or not (someone can check the underside of their muffler to see what it is stamped). But the regular Crossfire muffler has 2 'c shaped' pipes on the back of the muffler where the SRT does not (there are underside pics in the gallery somewhere, I referenced/linked them in a thread - SRT6 Exhaust (or close to).

I have been on a few drives with non SRT Crossfires and the tone/sound is definitely different. I would say the tone on the SRT is deeper, but not a whole lot louder.

I hypothesizing here, but since the SRT-6 is force-fed, it would only make sense that the exhaust flows better. I was thinking it would be an easy way to pick up a few ponies without the added buzzing/droning of an aftermarket system.

I had started a thread quite some time ago asking SRT guy's if their exhaust got louder after several thousand mile's were on the car. The reason I was asking was because the '04 coupe I was driving at the time got louder after it had around 10 to 15K miles on it. I had just bought my SRT6 and thought that it was very quite compared to the '04 coupe and was wondering if it would get louder over time. Funny thing, I was doing some net surfing for exhaust info. and ran across an article about the SRT6 exhaust system and the guy writing it said that it sounded like an F15 taking off. I thought that was strange because someone on the forum had asked me if my SRT6 sounded any different after I installed the Renntech kit. I had replied that you could hear the supercharger over the exhaust, but it was hard to explain how the exhaust sounded, I said it was like a big swooshing sound. I guess like an F15 taking off.
