Um.. SRT... I removed the factory intake for the Needswings Intake and along with it the engine cover and airboxes had to be removed as well... although I would like fabricate them in there somehow for show purposes..

You know how we artists are. Once we create a masterpiece we expect it to be shown. LOL

Sounds like it was for a good cause, so I can't complain. I wish there was a better Y pipe instead of that restrictive "pancake" thing on the stock SRT. Then I could keep my CF covers AND get more air as well. Maybe not as much as something like the needswings intake, but more just the same.

Enjoy!

Unhappy Re: Engine Cover

Anyone else had this problem?
My hood liner is rubbing the engine cover and there appears to be no way to lift the pad. There are plastic rivets or plugs that locate the pad but if it hangs down what can be done to anchor or lift the pad? I have searched the forum and not found any mention of this condition. It seems that no one else has seen this.

Kind of half-assed but I would probably cut a small hold in the center of the sagging area and use an appropriate adhesive to secure it to the underside of the hood.
