we havent tried to put a cover over the engine, it may be possible if you were to modify the stock box btu it will not go back on the way it is. we will have some powdercoated valve covers soon that will match the intakes

 

add me for one NA intake ... also, all of the people whining there is not enough performance options out there for this car ... fill up those spots. welds that nice and a maf flange like that take time, skill, and good equipment to fabricate. you either have all of those plus lots of free time to build one or pony up the cash to take care of those that will build it for you the way you would of done it if you didn't spend all your time at work (i remember when i had time to work on my cars).

All in all a good deal from where I'm standing.

Intenseblu has it right......Rob has a lot of time and research done on this part. This isn't a bunch of tubes just welded together, but a qualilty part that has been researched and tested over a series of months.

When the dyno runs were made, Rob had a few other guys come in that work on, and own, Mercedes products. I know a good deal about cars, (ASE master mechanic), but I felt like kind of a dummy surrounded by this group of guys.

Here's the question you have to ask yourself as I see it, Do you want to spend under $500.00 for a product that has proven itself over and over, (SRT and NA Crossfires), or spend more than $500.00 on a ECU tune that someone CLAIMS to give you more power? On this forum alone I've seen people selling their sprint booster, ecu,, miscellaneous speed parts. I have NEVER seen anyone selling their NeedsWings CAI! That should tell you something!

BTW.......there's some VERY interesting things to be coming down the road from what I've seen. The future is looking bright for the Crossfire aftermarket!
