BUMP

This will fit N/A as well and will bolt up to stock exhaust.

Hey TVT,

I am just wondering whether the headers will require me to reprogram
my ECU (I already have a Speed Innovation N/A ECU tune).

Also, being that I have already upgraded my Crossfire to the best of
my abilities (ECU tune, Evosport pulleys, Needswings CAI, Borla cat-back,
gutted cats, Magnecor Wires and Denzo iridium spark plugs... you name it)
I am wondering how well the new headers will "sync" with the other upgrades...

15~20 HP for the NA seems a bit high of an estimate, but it sure does sound good! If some dyno figures can be provided, you can DEFINTELY count me in, as I've never backed away from a great deal before.

Hope you can provide some answers for me ~ thanks in advance!

Well we won't have definate dyno numbers until we get our set in.

Right now we're putting down close to 280HP with our bigger injectors and similar mods to yours. With the headers we're hoping to get around the 290-300HP, with adding a better flowing exhaust as well.

We're offering the price preproduction as they will be going up to 1299.00 afterwards. If you order a set and we learn they do not fit, then your money is fully refunded.

Only a few more days before production. I think Friday is the last day.

Also if anyone is in southern CA near LA/San Diego area, VRP will install for 1199.00 with the preorder. Afterwards it is going up to 1699.00.

If you are at all interested I urge you to take advantage of this.

Yes there they are! A thing of beauty. We can't wait to get out set installed and dyno tuned. 300HP is looking awfully easy to attain...

Well TVT, if you guys can touche 300hp with all these mods you will have officially killed any interest in a low boost SC kit, as I'de rather keep it NA all the way.

what is the all up cost estimate on your CAI, injectors, ecu flash, misc other parts and headers?

I wonder what a set of cams will put you at?

We're aiming at SRT6 power for under 8K. I have zero doubts that we will be able to do it.

Full Retail List:

Injectors: 450.00
CAI: 455.00 (with cover)
Headers: 1300.00
Exhaust: 1600.00 (if the damn thing ever gets finished)
Pullies: 300.00
Crank Pulley: 500.00
Plugs and Wires: 285.00
Cams: 2500.00
Custom ECU Tune: 800.00

If you add all of that up, yes it does come out to over 8K, but we're hoping we don't sell everything at full retail.

The first 50-80HP comes fairly cheap, it's squeezing that last bit of power out of the stock displacement that starts to get a little expensive.

After we get the headers installed we will have a better idea if cams will be needed for 330HP, I don't think so, but this engine is mostly a mystery to everyone.

As a little teaser we've got together a rotating assembly for 3.75L using OEM parts. That, along with the other mods, will hopefully creep into 400 HP with some head work. But we're thinking way too ahead of ourselves.

Let's all just wait on the headers.

well I think it's a good business decision to offer the upgrades in steps, as every one starts out on the search for more power, they feel $8,000 is too much but over time you can drop a couple grand a year and not feel the pain so much.

I am so happy, I started to read these forums. hahaha. Keep up the great work!

Will TVT and LET be coordinating their efforts on future products involving the NA m112 or are you guys focusing more on the SRT6/C32's?

Both engines of course. But you won't have to come over here anymore to read about us. As of today we're Sponsors at MBworld.org.

I don't think the final production ones are done. I haven't heard from Vadim.

I was gonna comment on this reply earlier, but I felt like my comment might not be appreciated by some of the potential MB readers... at the same time its completely true.

Just looking at your introductory post on the mb w203 section and how little response there is, its apparent (to me at least) that the non amg mb community holds very little interest for power. Thats why i will continue to read the XF forums cuz you guys are power hungry Not to mention yall pose very good questions and solutions to everything involving our motor.

Any update would be quite appreciated ~

Thanks in advance!
