Rolling Start?
The battery on my '06 base coupe died last week. I was able to jump start it last friday night, and I let it run for about half an hour. I went to start it on Sunday and it just wouldn't start and every single light on the dash came and stayed on until the battery completely drained out. I called the local chrysler dealer (which I did not purchase it from) and they said it would have to be taken to their other branch, 45 miles away. Getting to the point, is it possible to do a rolling start with our cars? If so, will it damage the car in anyway?
I had the same problem with my 06 roadster, my battery was almost empty. I added water and recharged with the cables off the battery. I have not had any problems since. I suggest you check the fluid level in the battery, be careful when you do this it is acid and will explode if a spark is created when the caps are off!! Good Luck
They recommend distilled water, but I used tap water, it will work just fine. If you can get distilled water use it.
how high should the water level be? also, do I put water into just one of the caps, or should I unscrew all of them and put water in individually?
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the help
