crossfire keeps dying
2004 Crossfire n/a keeps dying!! it will run for anywhere from 5-15 minutes then die and i have to wait for like 5 minutes to try starting it. it acts like there is no spark, it just cranks over! help please! last week it wouldnt start at all and we thought it was the FFS so we reset it, then it started right up. So then we just changed the oil and put 8qt. in. Now when im driving down the road it will just die, or even at idle it will die. Sometimes it wont even die though it will run fine for long periods of time. Confused!
located in Nebraska.. it started roughly a weekago no mods yet and as far as i know besides when i put in all new infinity kappa speakers a month ago.. its bone stock! we ordered the CPS on monday because thats what im assuming it is! the part will be in this morning.. any idea where its located on the engine bay?
Others on here have had problems with the fuel pump relay under the hood. Sounds like their symptoms were somewhat like yours. Might want to do a search on that.
One of my previous car did exactly something like this and I fixed it by changing the fuel filter. Try the easy and cheap fixes first has been my way of fixing my cars when I'm not sure of what's broken. Even if it does not cure the problem at least you know down the road that you have a new gas filter.
