Best exhaust
Hi, I am looking to change my OEM exhaust. What is for you the absolute "BEST" exhaust or muffler possible for the Xfire?
A straight pipe is here forbidden so I need a muffler, like Magnaflow.
I went to Youtube to get some ideas' but can't make up my mind.
So what is for you the best muffler possible Name and number of it?

I have the Magnaflow 16633 Cat Back. I think it sounds GRRRRREAT!
I've found that YouTube sound tracks are very inaccurate-poor equipment recording the sounds and then to listen on computer speakers can be very misleading.
Just my opinion.

And I forgot, How easy is it to install it?
Cos' I want to do it by myself and it would be my first time.
And where did you buy the item and price range?

It is quite easy to install, it just bolts in. On the Roadster a crossbrace has to be removed (8 bolts) and re-installed. It can be done with a jack and stands, but would be MUCH easier on a car lift.
Make sure that it hangs centered when installed. Many have had to adjust the hooks on the mufflers to make it correct.
Shipping might be a bit expensive for you, but worth it.
Borla makes a unit for our cars too, but is a bit more expensive.
Let us know!

The Magnaflow 16633 Cat Back in Finland cost 986,36€ which is 1562,40$
And that is the price from the importer....

That is really a lot, compared to what you pay over there.... Man I really wish I was in the States... Looks like they really didn't want us to buy items for the car.

Try working by email with the sellers here. shipping should be ~$200. IF you can get them to the extra work of shipping to Finland.
DHL or UPS should be very little problem for them-try it out.
Will you have any VAT questions?
Is there some government restrictions on auto parts import?

I will have to try, but first I will try to see if it possible to find something maybe in germany. I am driving through it in a month and parts are cheaper over there.
The thing is that I will have to pay the item + shipping + then Taxes for the customs 6-9% of the first two values) + 25% of VAT (to the 3 first amounts)
350$ + 200$ = 550$ = (348€ *1,06) * 1,25= 460€
460€ = 728$
Which is less than normaly from the importer. But I will wait and see after the trip.
But thx for the tip.
