Thanks Max! I can't wait for that sound!
Cissy, if it does need a brogan adjustment, and you don't have a torch, your significant other will need a medium/large hammer (read; maul) to move the 3/8" diameter hanger rods. They're pretty tough.

Have fun!

Thanks, Max. I assume it CAN be done, though...right? Funny it should need adjusting at all. From what I can tell (tell me if I am wrong), these particular catback system is for the Crossfire only? At least that is what the website indicated. When looking for all cars for this application, only Crossfire came up. Hmmmmmm

Oh yah, still no email notification..dang!

Of course it can be done! It's just that the muffler hangs from two industrial strength rubber bands, and it seems when Magnaflow welds the hooks/rods to the muffler, they aren't "just so". I had to whack the driver's side hanger to the passenger side direction about 3/8" to make it centered.
When you're taking the OEM unit down, lay the 2 side-by-side to get an idea of any mismatch.
No real problem-you'll see!

well I got them installed and I think they look great. I like the sound, but the exhaust tends to resonate at about 1700 to2400 rpm when under a load. Has anyone else had this problem ?

Anyone have some sound clips for this exhaust? Lots of happy customers it seems, but I'd like to get some idea for the sound.

Youtube "16633" and Crossfire will find you a clip.

Doesn't do it justice.

Mine is scheduled to arrive today by FedEx. Will be awhile until we fit in the time to do the install. I'll post again when it gets done! I am soooo looking forward to this.

When I had my '90 Miata (sold it after 17 wonderful years), I put a Borla on it. Had a great deep throat sound.

Anyway :::waving:::

Thumbs up Re: Magnaflow Cat Back

Here's a link to a post about the wUnderCarParts deal for $350 plus shipping. They are still available at that price if you call wUnderCarParts, 1-888-986-3373.

That's cool!

When I saw him selling them for $450+ on ebay, I figured that was all done.

To you guys who have installed your Magnaflow...did you disconnect the battery first as is suggested in the directions? Just curious if you really have to. My significant other is doing the install tomorrow.

Thanks!
