pull a fuse.
not to mention continentals are shitty shitty hard tires, doesn't take more than a clutch kick to initiate a slide

we recently hosted an event at turner field, and on the uphill sections of the track the car wanted to nothing but understeer since its open diff... but as soon as the track transitioned to downhill, give it a clutch kick and the car just slides... its incredibly balanced and rather well suspended for a stock car.. it had less body roll than most of the track prepped cars out there (mostly s13's)

i need a spare diff to weld to fix the open diff problem

and im not saying that as an out... my car note is 580 a month... and i pay 5k a year in insurance. just to give you an idea. my dad is giving me his c6 z06 and insurance is like 6k.... so you can almost see my justification for questioning why... lol

now back to the turbo setup....

i can run the manifolds to the front of the motor with no problem, but i have to get new ac lines made.
i found the perfect intercooler

so im trying to figure out what to do radiator wise so i can run one single charge pipe to the tb..
maybe i'll toss the one off of my 240 on the crossfire... my koyo is slightly shorter in height and i could possibly run an oval charge pipe to clear the rad support.

most everything exhaust related will be ceramic coated to eliminate the horrid underhood heat problem these cars have. i can hopefully solve that with the 2 pusher fans

crank support doesnt matter
the crank is the strongest part of any motor

it comes down to piston design and construction, ringland size, spacing, depth, etc
connection rod design and construction

im more worried about popping a ringland than i am about throwing a rod

they managed to make it work, the Clk has even less room under the hood than the crossfire. do a search on the Merc forums sites.
