Sorry, you won't get a louder intake sound by just installing K&N's ! If you wanna hear your lil baby really "SUCK" try a CAI such as Need Wings or build one yourself. Several members have experimented with custom built intakes, do a Search !

Search on CAI, K&N etc. on the site and there's enough reading to keep you busy for the rest of the year.
Be warned though, you may be in for som abuse if you start asking questions.
I have a Needwings CAI, as a lot of others do on this formum. Others have the TVT version which is a lot cheaper and I'm sure just as effective as the Needswings. These are both proven designs.
TVT has various intake options available to you.

This may be a silly question. Did the person that installed the tubes and filters onto your air box actually take out the original filters that are inside the airbox?
You could have gotten the same effect, performance wise, for lees cost, by installing a set of K&N filters inside your air box.

That question is so obvious it had to be asked - we all assume things.
Just think how clean the air is if there's 4 filters in there!!!

Hmm, possibly 4 filters....That's how you slow the car down! What an upgrade!
