My Review: Needswings Dual Cai
First let me start by saying that I drove around with the Needswings single cai for 3 weeks before going to the dual intake. and I have to say my findings were a little surprising.
Pros:
looks cool!
very little if any intake whistling compared with the single intake
smoother throttle transition from part to full throttle
a little more midrange power in 1st and 2nd gear.
sounds a little more aggressive
engine feels less restricted.
probably makes a couple additional hp over the single intake simply becuase there is less restriction and a smooth aluminum intake elbow
All in all I like it and I think it's a good upgrade for the money.

Steve, if you still want those two rear tires, let me know.

My impression of the NW Dual CAI.
Looks VERY nice. (Lots of comments at the track)
Seems to work pretty good.... 11.96 @ 113.9mph.
I am hitting 20psi again that I was not getting with the SL55 after I did the plenum intake mod. The SL55 gave me 20psi before the mod, 18psi after.
20psi causes a P0108 error code. The only thing I changed was the intake. Now to find a fix......

I got a silver coated Needswings dual CAI installed by Rob today on my NA. It looks good, sounds great and the engine picks up RPMs quicker than it did with just the single NW and 74 mm throttle body. I also got an oil catch can while I was there. Rob did a super clean job on the install. I highly recommend Needswings products and workmanship to anyone looking for more performance.
Now I need to get to the track to see how much I improved my quarter mile numbers.
While I was there Liz (Rob's better half) took pics of the car to do a drawing for me. I like her work and can't wait to see it hanging in my office.
As you can probably tell by now, i'm a very satisfied and happy Needswings customer
Thank you very much Rob and Liz.
I will post pics of the dual intake tomorrow.
