Anyone know about this intake?
Any information good or bad about this intake. He says that for an additional $20, he can make if fit an SRT. $169 seems cheap for a dual intake. Is this a case of you get what you pay for? CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE AIR INTAKE SYSTEM:eBay Motors (item 320420485931 end time Sep-07-09 14:29:09 PDT)

It's amazing how often someone on fleabay can "modify" a part to fit our cars. I imagine this guy can also modify a solid rocket booster from the space shuttle to fit cleanly in our cars.
Q: Will this intake work on an SRT-6, or do you make one that will?
A: They will fit an SRT6 but the were made for a non turbo . I can make a unit an alum.one for an SRT6 for 20.00 more. Thanks Stan
this statement alone makes question the credibility of this.

The place where it actually sucks in the air is in the middle of the engine bay, where it would only suck in hot air, defeated the point of cold air intake. Correct me if i'm wrong but isnt the stock intake directly in the front where it already gets a good supply of cold air
Stan446 is a member of this Forum.....prices may a bit high, but he is an honorable guy. I have made many purchases from him in the past without incident or issues. Now back to the intake....you can make one yourself a bit cheaper. There will be no HP gains (more show than go) but you will get a bit more "growl" from the engine.

Thanks for all of the comments. I ended up purchasing a used NW CAI from a fellow member. I can't wait to receive it and get it put in.
