No, Most of everything is the same but there are some cars with 4-matic and the upper and lower oil pans will not work. Everything else besides electronics should be the same on all M112 N/A engines.

there will most likely be many slight differences, if yourswapping motors you woul dneed to have them both side by side on engine stands to see what would need to be switchd over. for instance the c-classes do not have a oil level dipstick

The engines are the same except for the oil pans differ on some models. Exhuast maifolds also vary by model. Someone need a Crossfire V6? I have a great running engine that needs a new home.

You guys should read the V8 diaries. If your going to go thru all the BS associated with swapping a MB motor, why stop at a V6?? That would just leave me pissed off. If I did a swap it would either be a stoked version of my motor so i dont have to deal with DAS bull**** or go all out like Lantana.

V-8 in the crossfire would be nice but not an easy plug and play drop-in
so that is why i am looking for a spare V-6 to rebuild it with a little bit more kick
a good port on the head with oversize valve with 5 angle /w cut back on the valves

I will take $800 from someone in the forum. It is a very good strong running engine that was well maintained with regular Mobil 1 oil changes.

Yes it is a great price and someone should snap it up before I decide to sell it for what it is really worth I would like to see it go to a good home here and hope someone will want to modify it and see what kind of power they can get out of it. It is a very good engine.

Check out this post from a thread I started last summer and see if you feel $800 is a good deal......

$800.00 is a good deal, but if you have the stock exhaust and oil pan you can pick up a decent low mileage engine on ebay for under 500.00.

We've bought v8s, running, for as low as 200.00.
