IAT sensor for SRT6
I am trying to find out the location of the IAT sensor on the SRT6. The service manual only says that the IAT sensor is part of the MAF sensor and shows the NA engine.
Is the IAT sensor part of the MAP sensor on the SRT6?
Thanks for your help.

Hey Mike,
You can see the IAT sensor on page 2978 of the service maual PDF (Fuel System section, Ch. 14 page 40). That is the location for the SRT. It sticks up from the air distribution y-pipe that connects to the pipes going into the intake manifolds.
If you look at the teflon coated y-pipes the Needswings sell, you can see the hole for the IAT sensor:

I saw that one on pg 14-41 too. What was/is confusing is that on pg 14-50 they show the MAP sensor and it looked like it was the same spot. Looking closer now it looks like the IAT is on the Y pipe and the MAP is on the back of the SC just below the throttle body. I will have to take some pics when I have the TB off again.
But that does answer my question. In order to get the meth to flow over the IAT sensor you would need to run it THROUGH the SC or inject it right there at the Y pipe onto the sensor.

When I had my single nozzle tapped into the Y where the IAT sits (Initial install), the car did nothing as far as performance. The car didn't pick up or slow down......This is with one 5gph nozzle installed into the Y basically spraying directly on the IAT sensor.....
That seems odd... maybe a bigger nozzel...10-14gph? I should also be a good place to get a good distribution to the two intakes if you dont want to do the twin injectors. Either that or inject before the SC like mrphotoman. You guys are making my brain hurt......
I don't think I wouldn't be spraying it directly onto the IAT sensor. What are everyone's thoughts on putting the nozzle in the intercooler elbow coming right off the supercharger? I would think that it would give you enough time for the water/meth to atomize so it doesn't damage the IAT sensor.

just reading and learning here...bikecop put his on with twin injectors...1 on each side in the tubes on the back of the intakes if I remember right...what about this method? I don't think he turned any better times than I am doing right now...so, where is the best place...obviously, mrphotoman is on to something, his is performing excellent....
