Where's the love fellas? <group hug>

For the original poster:
Some search topics to help you:
TVT 250 kit
NeedsWings CAI (cold air intake)
ECU tune

Those are the three biggest (and most readily available) things you can do for a normally aspirated Crossfire. I do want to mention though, that the TVT 250 kit includes ECU tune and CAI (as well as injectors). So don't go backwards up my list.

Some other less popular alternatives include swapping in a Mercedes V8. But if you're anything like me, that's beyond my mechanical ability and the power of my check book. Search for a thread started by LantanaTX for the story of his V8 install.

Exhaust mods are available too, but they offer relatively poor bang-for-the-buck as far as performance goes. Most folks get them for the sound rather than any performance aspect.

Lastly, I'll mention that TVT_Design is pretty much the king of the NA Crossfire mods. He's one stop shopping for most everything. There are other vendors and other products, but Anthony at TVT will set you straight. Most of the other mod shops focus on the SRT-6 and performance mods unique to it, which won't help you much. Regardless, Rob @ NeedsWings is a great guy and will help you out any way he can.

I'm with you on this. Search tells you what has been done including stuff from years ago.

TVT was the first to give the Ron any useful info. Thanks Anthony.

Of course they had that evil corporate profit motive forcing them to provide courteous service with a little respect.

I'm just sayin'

BTW, Ron, the potential for HP improvement is about 25% depending on how much you are willing to spend and do. I am 193.5HP at the wheel from 154 HP, dyno proven. TVT can do it, Eurocharged can also. But Anthony is there and they're a good bunch of guys.

Thanks to all and TVT who answered the More HP Wanted with the correct answer. It was the new post I made that got the answer where the search was lacking. Posting really helps to get answers and fast. The search is also helpful. Ron

Get the tune and the cold air. You won't believe the difference.

I put a Sprint Booster (from TVT) in mine last week. I don't care what anyone says, it is a performance mod. It is how these cars should have come from the factory.

I have to look up these items on their site and how much. Is it one of the packages? Never heard of those items before but I'm learning. Did you have them install it? Will our warranty hold up with the changes? Ron

First, I cannot speak for the warranty. some dealer ignore mods, some don't even know what they are doing and can't tell, all want to get paid for doing the warranty work so my experience has been, they don't care.

I had Eurocharged do all of it. Talk to Anthony at TVT, he is right there in NJ and will walk you thru it. Answer all your questions.

The installs of the needswings and a flash tune chip are easy. You can do that yourself. Injectors are routine but really the best thing if you are not all that savy or don't have the tools, just let them do a package for you.

I found that I can fix something myself. But, with trips to the Auto Zone, Dealer Auto Zone, back to the house, Sears for tools yada yada...... in 6 to 8 hours. These guys will do it in less than two. Then you can spend those extra 4 hours driving the car and grinning your butt off.

TVT will stand behind their work and assist you if something fails,(unlikely) or just isn't right.

Really sounds great! Did you have the work done on a limited crossfire as thats what I have and hope to feel a big difference. It sounds like Needswing sold you a flash turn chip?

My garage is full of doors, windows, oak flooring and Plywood. My company shop is overloaded with customer's work. I don't get to do my own stuff much anymore.

So, I had Eurocharged do all of it. Yes, it is a Limited roadster. 6 Spd.

The tune is a dyno tune. Not a flash tune which is conservative. In a dyno tune they put your car on the dyno machine and then tune it custom for your mods and how you want to drive. Cost a little more than a drop in flash tune, but it willl squeeze out every bit of power throughout the RPM range.

Look, I'm real happy with Eurocharged. You can contact them, they are in Chicago, Il.
But, you can have Anthony, TVT, do all of it right there in NJ. Or, he will work with you on parts and stuff you can install.

Send him a PM @ TVT

read this thread again, theres 2 good links for hp etc. Search cat back exhausts or cat deletes too. Most folks use magnaflow. A cai is good for simple bolt on mod. TVT just closed so whatever you read about them is obsolute. I think eurocharged will tune ecus.

Again, search!!!! write down stuff you need further explanation on and PM Beaner, hes a wealth of HP knowledge and takes time to assist the new folks. Welcome to the beast forum going
