People on forums everywhere are always quick to jump in with "do a search" ... the thing is when you run a search you often end up with 500 threads, many of which run off topic early, or are nothing like what you are specifically asking about, or have outdated information, etc.
I think if you don't want to reply to a thread, just ignore it. If nobody has replied in a day or two, and the TS is just sitting there bumping his thread, then someone could ask if the TS ran a search, since the topic had been covered previously. It isn't that hard to ignore a thread if you're not interested in it.

and you wonder why you can't find anything in the search feature....TVT will have what you are looking for....no one has any patience anymore...I want it right now...lol...the threads will help you decide which way to go, and how much to spend to get to where you want to be...and John is right, if you continue to talk about something that has already been discussed, it just makes it harder for the next guy that comes along...more threads to sort thru....good luck modding...and you can still ask, and you will still get your answers....always someone willing to help...

If your gonna be a pain in the *** I'm not gonna donate or Join. What are you stalking my posts?
I was simply trying to get you to use the tools that are at your disposal and not to use up all your 'freebies' on things that have been discussed over and over because one day you are going to have a serious problem, post a thread and no one will look because they assume you are asking another question that has been discussed to death.
Wishful thinking Ron, I have not been stalking, but new kids on the block starting a lot of threads will get you noticed. Hopefully, as the first time I politely said something, you realize I am not trying to be a d1ckhead, just trying to make the forum a better place for all, I was new here once as well
Sorry, I have to jump in on this. The search feature is great for how to change the oil or wiper blades or standard stuff. When it comes to upgrades, things constantly change. If you only use the search feature and never ask again, you might miss out on something new someone has done. Never discourage ingenuity or seeking new ideas.
